Health care

Sierra Leone has long struggled with some of the world's worst health outcomes—including a maternal mortality epidemic in which a woman's lifetime risk of dying in pregnancy or childbirth is 1 in 17. Extreme poverty prevents most families from accessing health care.

CAPACITY BUILDING AND SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY FARMING GROUPS

We supported 31 Women Farming Groups in kambia Districts OF Sierra Leone with Training on Climate Smart farming program, seedlings, food for work to support the Feed Salone Initiative

SuppORTED SCHOOLS WITH EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS IN KAMBIA DISTRICT OF SIERRA LEONES

Implement rainwater harvesting systems to collect and store rainwater for drinking or recharging underground aquifers. Build wells to extract groundwater from underground aquifers. Provide home water-treatment capability through the use of filters, solar disinfection, or flocculants, to make drinking water safe
